About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at VanRath. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Diagnose and repair issues with pumps, motors, conveyors, and other mechanical equipment.
  • Inspect equipment to ensure safety and performance standards are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and prepare reports as needed.
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate replenishment to minimize downtime.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
  • Respond promptly to mechanical breakdowns to minimize disruption to operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in an industrial setting.
  • Expertise in mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.
  • Able to work in fast-paced industrial environments.
