Job Opportunity: PSV Mechanic
Arriva London is seeking a skilled engineer to join our team as a PSV Mechanic. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet of buses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on our buses to meet Arriva and DVSA standards
- Conduct diagnostic fault finding and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues
- Participate in quality checks and maintenance campaigns to ensure vehicle reliability
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve continuous improvement of vehicle reliability
- Work flexible shift patterns to meet the needs of our operation
Requirements:
- Qualifications in PSV/HGV/Light vehicle maintenance and repair (NVQ level 2 or equivalent international qualification)
- At least 5 years' experience in repair and maintenance of PSV/HGV/Light vehicle (or equivalent experience in a related field)
- Full UK driving licence with 6 points or less
- Ability to pass a PCV pre-employment medical
