We are seeking an experienced Care Manager to join our team at Oxford Aunts Care Ltd. As a Care Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of hourly care to our clients, working closely with our operations team to manage placements, staffing, and care needs.
Key Responsibilities- Manage placements and ensure client retention and stability
- Conduct robust risk assessments and identify client needs
- Create and implement plans of care to meet client needs and bring about positive change
- Work collaboratively with clients, client families, key stakeholders, and healthcare professionals
- Supervise and appraise staff, ensuring high-quality care delivery
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, families, and stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
- Experience in the health and social care sector, with a strong understanding of carer roles and support needs
- Ability to prioritize effectively, plan, and organize
- Strong risk assessment skills, with knowledge and skills to deliver safety for clients and carers
- Excellent written communication and care planning skills
- Experience of staff supervision and appraisal processes
- Ability to work collaboratively, with excellent customer service skills
- Ability to problem-solve and risk assess, with a calm and composed demeanor
- Driver with a car based within a 70-mile radius of Oxford
- IT literate, with ability to use word, excel, laptop, and tablet functions
- Holds a role within the medical profession, including nursing, occupational therapy, and/or physiotherapy
- Holds a degree qualification or care sector-related qualification to a minimum of Level 3
