Job Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Learning Support Assistant. We are seeking a passionate and empathetic person to support young people with special educational needs in our Coventry SEMH education provision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with SEMH needs in a primary and secondary setting
  • Work closely with teachers and the pastoral team to provide targeted, personalised support
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote social, emotional, and mental wellbeing
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements

We are looking for someone who is flexible, versatile, and able to work effectively with whole classes and 1:1. An understanding of the 'Thrive' approach is beneficial, as is a passion for working with young people and supporting those with barriers to their learning.
