As we expand our operations, we are excited to announce a new position within our Safety Team.

We seek a dynamic and passionate individual to take on the role of Food Safety and Compliance Manager .

This position will require regional travel, with occasional national travel, to support our catering operations across the country.

We offer a competitive salary along with a car allowance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Health and Safety Director in overseeing all aspects of food safety, health regulations, and allergen management throughout the organization.
  • Proactively fostering a positive safety culture within your designated area of responsibility.
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the provision of safe working environments and compliance with regulations.
  • Promoting and motivating excellent practices in food safety, health, and allergen management through diverse initiatives across the organization.
  • Serving as a trusted advisor on all matters related to food safety, allergen management, and health regulations.
  • Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of safety standards and requirements to develop effective and practical solutions.
  • Ensuring that Impact Food Group meets its legal obligations while striving to minimize risks to our employees and the organization.
  • Providing guidance and assurance that safe operational procedures are established and maintained.
  • Responsible for conducting audits, inspections, investigations, and risk assessments.
  • In collaboration with the Health and Safety Director, actively contribute to the continuous improvement of health and safety performance through regular reporting, management meetings, training sessions, and clear communication.
  • With your professional qualifications and extensive experience in Food Safety and Health, you will introduce innovative ideas and methods to enhance safety and support employee well-being.

Qualifications and Experience:

It is essential to possess at least an NVQ Level 4 in Food Hygiene and an NVQ Level 5 in Health and Safety.

- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Food Safety or Health and Safety role is required.

- Experience in a managerial position within a Food Safety environment covering multiple locations is advantageous.

Desirable qualifications include a BSc or MSc in Environmental Health.

Familiarity with contract catering or retail catering environments is also desirable.
