Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship Opportunity

MBDA UK Ltd is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as an Electrical Engineering Apprentice. This four-year programme will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in electrical engineering, while working on exciting projects and contributing to the development of our missile systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and integrate electronics for missile systems, including weapon control units, actuators, telemetry and communication systems
  • Work on board missile equipment, such as weapon controllers, fin actuators, safety systems and data links
  • Contribute to the development of firing control units for land, naval and airborne platforms
  • Collaborate with the team to design and develop automatic test equipment, electrical equipment, training simulators and countermeasures equipment

  • Study leave during exam periods
Requirements:
  • 5 GCSES including Maths & English Language & Science/Technology at a Grade 9 - 4
  • 120 UCAS points achieved through T-Level in an Engineering subject, BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma including a Distinction in Further Maths
