About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at Strive Supply Chain Services Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the facilities team and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our warehouse operations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate routine safety inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Manage relationships with contractors and suppliers, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of services
  • Plan and implement maintenance work, maintaining accurate records and ensuring minimal disruption to operations
  • Supervise facilities staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Control task requests and project planning details, ensuring timely completion and effective resource allocation
  • Obtain quotations and negotiate operational costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction
  • Provide and record project planning details, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
  • Induct and establish effective working relationships with contractors, ensuring seamless integration into our operations
  • Carry out regular site inspections, audits, and monitoring maintenance records, identifying areas for improvement
  • Maintain Permit to Work log for contractor/Maintenance Op as appropriate (all sites)
  • Respond to emergency situations and host contractors as needed
  • Ensure sites are prepared for adverse weather conditions (snow, ice, darkness)
  • Manage the cleaning, facilities, and maintenance teams, ensuring effective resource allocation and minimal disruption to operations
  • Ensure all teams and contractors adhere to H&S and COSHH regulations
  • Support management of canteen, staff, policies, and process, and management of 3rd party security companies
