As a Culinary Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing kitchen operations, ensuring the preparation of nutritious meals while adhering to dietary restrictions. Your responsibilities will include supervising inmates in food preparation and cooking, all while maintaining high standards of health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to complete daily tasks efficiently.
- Receive and organize food deliveries.
- Assist in food preparation and basic cooking tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Supervise and train inmates in culinary skills.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a chef, preferably in a supervisory role or within a correctional setting.
