About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team in Reading, working on a construction project for one of our key clients. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team and ensuring the successful delivery of the project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the project team to achieve project objectives
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project delivery
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed
Requirements
  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification
  • Chartered level of qualification desirable
  • Membership of a relevant professional body, such as the APM or CIOB
  • Ability to obtain minimum level of SC Clearance
  • UK Driving license and ability to work and live in the UK
Skills and Experience
  • Superior interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members
  • Strong organizational skills, with ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to adapt to changing project requirements
  • Experience of high-level program and project management, including project planning, risk management, and cost control
  • Understanding and experience of NEC contracts and CDM regulations
