Senior Phlebotomy Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Phlebotomist to join our dynamic team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. As a key member of our community phlebotomy team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Main ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for leading the provision of a domiciliary service, supervising the weekend phlebotomy service, training staff on venepuncture skills, and supporting the day-to-day line management of band 3 phlebotomists. You will also be expected to work collaboratively with the clinical phlebotomy leads to ensure the smooth operation of our phlebotomy services.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in phlebotomy, including experience of supervising and training junior staff. You will also need to have a basic first aid qualification and be able to work without a high level of supervision. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team are essential.
