Job Summary

The Security Team Lead will be a key member of the operational team responsible for managing the team of Security Officers and day-to-day operations at ISS Facility Services. In this role, you will ensure that the highest level of security and safety of all customer sites and personnel is maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day supervision, co-ordination and scheduling for the security team at all locations.
  • Work closely with our clients, customers and colleagues to resolve all queries in a timely and effective manner.
  • Attend and manage all emergency situations, acting as the incident commander to ensure the security team effectively supports and resolves any potential emergency.
  • Maintain rotas, holiday arrangements and sickness.
  • Ensure all security areas are kept clean and tidy.
  • Ensure the effective delivery of security services to include access control, patrolling, CCTV operation and incident response.
  • Assist the management team and client by carrying out investigations in accordance with ISS Facility Services policies.
  • Ensure all duties are carried out in an honest, ethical and professional manner.
  • Report directly to the Security & Risk Manager.
  • Ensure all weekly, monthly and quarterly audits are completed.

Requirements

  • MUST have an SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
  • SIA Public Space Surveillance (CCTV) licence is a requirement for the role, must be able to achieve the licence within 3 months of employment – Licence already in place is preferred.
  • Excellent team-working, organisation and interpersonal skills.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, to interact with clients, customers and our colleagues.
  • High standards of personal appearance and presentation.
  • The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Good computer literacy.
  • Experience supervising a security team.
  • Motivated by playing a part in continued improvement, to include the professional development of your team.
  • Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to further develop your knowledge and skills, undertake additional training/qualifications.
