Position Overview: We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial operations at Liberty Financial Services (LFS). This role is pivotal in shaping our financial vision and driving growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all new sales agreements to ensure long-term profitability.
- Analyze financial performance metrics to enhance profitability, identifying areas for cost reduction and risk management.
- Collaborate closely with LFS Managing Directors to refine the commercial pricing strategy.
- Oversee the accounting, forecasting, and budgeting processes for the entire LFS management team, challenging expenditures and promoting efficiency.
- Present financial reports to the Group CFO, serving as the financial expert for LFS.
- Lead financial evaluations in potential mergers and acquisitions to ensure sound commercial and financial decisions.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including M&A and Strategy, to foster sustainable growth.
- Regularly assess expenditures and guide purchasing strategies across departments.
- Identify and implement technologies to improve reporting and forecasting, utilizing innovative tools for real-time insights.
- Employ predictive analytics to drive growth, uncover operational opportunities, and mitigate risks.
- Foster a dynamic and entrepreneurial culture, encouraging adaptability and challenging conventional practices.
- Instill a commercial mindset where team members consider cost implications and revenue potentials in all sales evaluations.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to LFS management teams, promoting a proactive approach to seizing opportunities and questioning the status quo.
- Develop and retain key talent by setting ambitious goals and demonstrating effective leadership, building high-performance teams to support business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Experience in senior financial roles at the VP level.
- Proven track record of implementing change and achieving cost efficiencies through technology.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate and visualize both short and long-term impacts aligned with enterprise strategy.
- Self-motivated with a sense of urgency and a willingness to challenge existing norms.
- Strong leadership skills, capable of managing cross-functional teams and influencing strategy across the organization.
- Ability to translate data analysis into actionable business insights.
- Deep understanding of customer satisfaction metrics and end-to-end processes.
- Experience in setting and managing KPIs and SLAs across shared services.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders effectively.
