Position Overview

Service Care Solutions is seeking a dedicated Vetting Compliance Officer to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring adherence to the Vetting Code of Practice and the Authorised Professional Practice (APP) for the Police Community.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Vetting Request Validation: Assess and validate vetting requests by thoroughly reviewing applications, identifying discrepancies, and rejecting unauthorized or incomplete submissions to maintain compliance with the Vetting APP.
  2. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act, Data Protection regulations, and the Code of Ethics to facilitate efficient processing of applications.
  3. Counter Terrorism Checks: Conduct comprehensive checks on the Counter Terrorism database to detect any associations with extremist groups, and initiate inquiries with Counter Terrorism Intelligence Officers as necessary.
Qualifications

Applicants should possess a minimum of Level 3 of the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) or have equivalent relevant experience.
