About the Role

Brewer Morris is seeking a highly skilled Treasury Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our cash balances and managing our global bond portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cash Balance Optimization: Monitor and analyze our cash balances to identify opportunities for cost savings and recommend actions to minimize overdraft costs.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate and timely financial reports to stakeholders, including our monthly cash report.
  • Global Bond Management: Manage our central database for global bonds and guarantees, advising group companies on reducing liabilities as bonds expire.
  • Trade Execution: Propose and execute trades related to our intercompany loan portfolio and group transactional hedges on the 360T platform.
  • System Administration: Serve as the system administrator for our Treasury Management System (TMS), maintaining and updating the system as needed.
  • Intercompany Netting: Oversee the intercompany netting process via TMS, adding entities and managing static data as required.
  • Electronic Banking: Act as the primary contact for electronic banking, handling account changes and user entitlements.
  • Cash Repatriation: Ensure surplus cash from global group companies is returned to our treasury centre.
  • Project Management: Take ownership of assigned treasury projects and drive them to completion.
Requirements
  • Planning and Prioritization: Ability to plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Data Analysis: Skilled in data analysis and interpretation, with the capacity to suggest actionable insights to senior team members.
  • Project Ownership: Ownership and proactive management of project work.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a corporate treasury environment, with an interest in pursuing a treasury career.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in treasury management systems, Bloomberg, or electronic banking platforms.
  • Excel Skills: Intermediate Excel skills.
