Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Boden Group. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on electrical systems in retail, hospitality, and commercial properties across Milton Keynes and surrounding regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Performing preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, including 1-3 phase equipment, fire alarms, emergency lights, fuse boards, switches, sockets, and general hard FM equipment.
  2. Working on a mobile basis, covering multiple sites, and ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  3. Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with colleagues and clients to ensure that all work is completed efficiently and effectively.
  4. Collaborating with other teams to ensure that all electrical systems are functioning correctly and that any issues are identified and resolved promptly.
Requirements:
  1. Electrically qualified, ideally with a completed apprenticeship.
  2. Experience in providing both preventive and reactive maintenance to electrical and mechanical FM building equipment.
  3. UK Driving License with 6 points or less.
