About the Organization
Turning Point Scotland is the largest provider of services for individuals facing or at risk of homelessness throughout Scotland, assisting numerous individuals daily.
We hold the belief that homelessness can often be prevented. In instances where it cannot be avoided, we strive to ensure that the experience is brief and does not recur. Our support is directed towards individuals who are:
- Experiencing homelessness
- At risk of becoming homeless
- In need of assistance to maintain their housing
Candidate Profile
No prior experience is necessary as we will guide you through our thorough induction and continuous learning and development training. The essential requirement is your availability to work full time (37 hours per week) from Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM.
A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle are essential, as travel for support provision across the area is required.

Role Overview
As a Support Practitioner in the field of Homelessness and Prevention, you will engage with individuals who have diverse support needs, offering both practical and emotional assistance while motivating them to achieve their personal goals in various life aspects, including safety, meaningful engagement, community participation, physical health, relationships, and emotional well-being.
In this role, you will manage your own caseload and schedule to provide support to the individuals we assist. Comprehensive training and coaching will be provided.
