We are seeking a skilled and experienced 7.5 Tonne Vehicle Driver to join our client's team in Quarry Bank. As a key member of the logistics team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently driving 7.5 tonne vehicles, collecting and delivering goods, and ensuring loads are secure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
  • Drive 7.5 tonne vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
  • Collect and deliver goods to customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
  • Use a pump truck and tail lift as required
  • Ensure loads are secure and properly loaded
  • Communicate effectively with depot staff and customers
  • Complete relevant paperwork and documentation

Requirements:

  • Over 6 months of experience driving 7.5 tonne vehicles
  • Hold a valid UK Category C1 Driving Licence
  • Hold a valid CPC and Tacho card
  • No more than six points on your Driving Licence for minor infringements
  • No major infringements

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Over 12 months of experience driving 7.5 tonne vehicles
  • Clean UK Category C1 Driving Licence
  • Knowledge of the local area
  • Previous experience working within the pallet network
