Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Procurement Strategies: Work with senior leaders to create and execute procurement plans that align with the company's business objectives.
  • Lead the Procurement Team: Manage a team of procurement professionals to ensure the successful delivery of procurement services to clients.
  • Procurement Service Delivery: Lead the delivery of procurement services to clients, ensuring high standards of quality and client satisfaction.
  • Project Management: Manage individual project and product stream budgets, reporting to the Altair Board on growth, performance, and activities completed within the stream.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and foster client relationships to drive business growth.
  • Team Management: Manage a team of consultants and associates specialized in procurement service delivery.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards governing procurement activities, particularly in the public sector.
  • Market Trends and Policy Changes: Monitor market trends and policy changes to adapt services and provide proactive solutions for clients.
Requirements
  • MCIPS Qualification: Applicants must be MCIPS qualified.
  • Experience: Proven experience in procurement leadership roles, with a strong track record of delivering procurement services to clients.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with the ability to develop and implement procurement strategies that drive business growth.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team of procurement professionals.
