About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nurse Specialist to join our team at Priory Hospital Market Weighton. As a key member of our Multi-Disciplinary Team, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred care and support to individuals with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to individuals in achieving their goals of community integration, strengthened daily living skills, and improved insight into mental health and risk factors.
  • Work collaboratively with the MDT to deliver high-quality person-centred care and achieve the best outcomes for individuals.
  • Contribute to service development and implement evidence-based practices to improve care and support.
  • Support junior members of the team and provide mentorship and guidance as needed.

Requirements

  • Qualified mental health or learning disability nurse with a strong background in providing person-centred care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals, families, and other professionals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to service development.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
