About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Fostering Service Manager to lead the strategic development and operational management of our fostering services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing foster carer recruitment, assessment, supervision, training, and ongoing support for both carers and the children and young people they care for.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality and effectiveness of our fostering services
  • Manage and supervise a team of staff working in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff
  • Oversee foster carer recruitment, assessment, and training processes
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and standards
  • Collaborate with local authorities and independent agencies to achieve shared goals
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' previous experience within the last 5 years in a position relevant to the fostering service
  • At least 1 year of experience requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a role
  • Experience with Ofsted regulations and standards
