Job Description

A challenging and dynamic role is available for a qualified Social Worker to lead our Fostering Services team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a social work role, including substantial experience in working within Fostering services.

The team are committed to providing exceptional care and support to foster carers and the children and young people in their care.

The successful candidate will lead the strategic development and operational management of our fostering services, ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include fostering carer recruitment, assessment, supervision, training, and ongoing support for both carers and the children and young people they care for.

A strong understanding of the regulatory standards and best practice is essential for this role.

  • Qualified Social Worker with current registration (SWE) and a recognized professional qualification.
  • Extensive experience in a social work role, including substantial experience in working within Fostering services.

  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to looked after children and child protection.
