Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend meetings with clients and prospects to showcase technical abilities and provide solutions to their IT needs.
  • Provide assistance and guidance during the pre-sales process by identifying technical and business requirements prior to designing an IT solution.
  • Collate client information to produce solutions and write and produce documentation, designs, and proposals.
  • Deliver technical presentations both internally and externally, and work with various teams to feedback on issues with current products and provide input around new products.
  • Create scopes of works for project delivery teams and work with them to successfully deliver a project.
  • Provide technical solutions in a professional manner and to agreed timeframes, and promote and quote technical solutions, managed services, and support services with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Provide accurate and timely management information and activity reports and forecasts, and provide technical specialist support in some or all of the following: Microsoft Server/365/Azure, HPe Server/Storage, Aruba Switching, Dell Server/Storage, SonicWALL Firewall/Switching, Ruckus Wi-Fi/Switching, and other leading specialist vendors.

Requirements:

  • Experience with MS 365 and Azure, Virtualisation (VMWare vSphere, Hyper-V), Storage (SANs, HP MSA/Nimble, Dell MD), Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange Server, SQL Server, Switching (including dynamic routing and dynamic VLANS), Firewalling and perimeter security (Next gen firewalls), Wi-Fi (enterprise grade), and Good understanding of communication networks (Lease Line, Radio, FTTP, etc).
  • Good understanding of MSP support and managed services offerings, Full Clean UK driving license, Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a thoroughly professional approach, Professional in appearance and with good commercial acumen, Experience of actively driving and managing the pre-sales process, Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills, and Must be comfortable in a working from home environment and be able to visit the office once or twice a month.
