Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare for and manage accreditation audits to maintain our organization's high standards.
  • Oversee environmental and sustainability initiatives across multiple sites, including reviewing risk assessments and method statements.
  • Develop and implement environmental and sustainability action plans to reduce our organization's environmental impact.
  • Liaise with site and regional management to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Oversee waste management and pollution control initiatives to minimize our organization's environmental footprint.
  • Implement biodiversity improvement initiatives to enhance our organization's environmental sustainability.

Requirements:

  • IEMA membership or an environmental-based degree or equivalent.
  • Experience working in facilities management, construction, maintenance, or hard services, or a transferable sector.
  • Ability to work in both operational and strategic roles.
  • Willingness to travel across the Midlands and North with occasional overnight stays.
  • Ability to pass a security or DBS check.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise at all levels.
