Environmental and Sustainability Advisor

Dalkia UK is seeking a highly skilled Environmental and Sustainability Advisor to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing environmental strategies that promote sustainable development and support our client's Net Zero aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure site compliance with all environmental management systems and legislation.
  • Capture and compile environmental and sustainability data for Dalkia and EDF.
  • Provide advice on pollution prevention, waste reduction, and management, and prevent environmental incidents.
  • Support and advise Facilities Management and Project Teams on environmental aspects and impacts.
  • Work closely with the client to support their Net Zero sustainability strategies.
  • Be the subject matter expert on energy efficiency and retrofit, keeping up to date with new initiatives.
  • Lead and organize site audits and duty of care audits with sub-contractors.
  • Work closely with the QSHE team to ensure operational risk is assessed and effective controls are in place.
  • Produce Key Performance Reports to meet compliance obligations for operational permits.
  • Lead and promote environmental and sustainability awareness through training, briefings, poster campaigns, and other communication methods.
Requirements:
  • IEMA Environmental Management certification.
  • IT literacy in MS Office tools.
  • IOSH/NEBOSH certification.
