The successful candidate will join the technical delivery team, which is tasked with all technical operations, including risk assessment, thorough examination of policy documents, and negotiation of insurance agreements. This position allows individuals to collaborate with innovative professionals in a dynamic industry, during a period of significant business expansion.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities associated with the Junior Risk Analyst position encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in risk assessment activities by engaging with clients to gather and evaluate a diverse array of documentation.
  • Conducting interviews with client staff to facilitate qualitative assessments of their risk exposures and mitigation strategies.
  • Reviewing extensive volumes of client documentation (including operational details and insurance policy elements) to pinpoint areas of concern from a risk management perspective.
  • Contributing to the creation of intricate risk assessment reports and delivering feedback/presentations to clients.
  • Collaborating with clients to develop and implement solutions while working closely with leading legal experts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The qualifications and skills sought for the Junior Risk Analyst role include, but are not limited to:

  • A recent graduate with exemplary academic credentials (minimum 2.1 classification with A grades at A-levels and GCSEs) and a degree in a demanding academic discipline, either freshly graduated or with limited professional experience.
  • A quick learner with the capacity to assimilate new information and critically evaluate concepts.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and comfort with both qualitative and quantitative challenges.
  • Exceptional ability to articulate complex issues in a clear and structured manner.
