Job Title: Head of Treasury Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Treasury Manager to join our EMEA Treasury team at PayPal, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing Treasury activities for our regulated entities in the region, including liquidity and capital management, investment management, regulatory ratio management, and ensuring compliance with entity policies and procedures.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain world-class Treasury management standards, driving processes that enable PayPal to scale with its rapid growth while ensuring robust controls.
  • Partner with multiple teams within and outside Treasury, working closely with management across the regions, and have a particular focus on PayPal UK.
  • Manage regional regulatory relationships and respond to requests from the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
  • Manage entity regulatory requirements such as UK Safeguarding, together with entity Finance controllership teams.
  • Oversee entity asset liability management (ALM), balance sheet forecasts, regulatory metrics, and stress testing.
  • Oversee PPUK investment portfolio, ensuring compliance with external requirements and internal policies.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Proven ability to work and take initiative to problem solve with minimal direction.
  • Experience in treasury and familiarity with financial statements.
  • Familiarity with UK and/or European financial regulation.
  • Able to quickly understand complex process flows and drive process improvements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills.
