About the Role

The GAP Group Limited is seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our IT Team based in Glasgow. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in defining the overall structure of our IT systems and processes, improving business efficiency using new and improved systems and technologies.

The Role

The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for developing our ERP System (Infor M3) by analyzing internal processes and requirements and translating these into technical solutions. This will involve working closely with the systems development team to identify areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance system functionality.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a significant background in system improvement projects, ideally involving ERP systems experience in both Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies. You will also need to have proven ability to analyze business processes and requirements, propose effective solutions, and create documentation to support the team and end users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business processes and requirements to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement technical solutions to enhance system functionality
  • Work closely with the systems development team to identify and implement changes
  • Collaborate with external vendors on integration and development projects
  • Perform ERP system upgrades and testing
