Position Summary
We are in search of a Mobile QA Engineer to enhance our team. This position encompasses a combination of mobile automation and functional testing, with duties ranging from crafting test strategies to executing and sustaining automated testing protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Test Strategy Development & Execution:
- Engage with Product Design and Development teams to formulate comprehensive test plans and scenarios.
- Conduct functional and automated testing to validate product performance, precision, and dependability.
Automation & Quality Enhancement:
- Create and uphold scalable, reusable automated testing scripts for mobile applications.
- Participate in PR reviews to ensure 100% readiness for regression automation.
- Identify, document, and monitor defects; collaborate with development teams for prompt resolution.
Process Improvement:
- Establish and refine QA strategies and processes; liaise with backend teams for effective testing.
- Incorporate testing early in the development lifecycle utilizing mocking techniques.
Testing & Validation:
- Engage in regression testing to confirm that new enhancements do not disrupt existing functionalities.
- Continuously improve QA processes and contribute to best practices in testing.
Qualifications
- At least 8 years of experience in QA and Software Engineering.
Technical Proficiencies:
- Hands-on experience with iOS and Android platforms.
- Expertise in mobile app automation tools such as MonkeyTalk, Selendroid, Appium, or Katalon.
- Strong understanding of Functional, Integration, Regression, Exploratory, End-to-End, Compatibility, GUI, Web Services, and Accessibility testing.
- Proficient in Swift, Kotlin, or similar functional programming languages.
- Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or IntelliJ Http Client.
- Familiarity with debugging tools such as Charles Proxy, Splunk, or Sentry Console.
Additional Attributes:
- Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and complete software lifecycle deployment.
- Detail-oriented with the capability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
