Job Introduction

Pentagon Motor Group is seeking a skilled Mobile Vehicle Technician to join their Fleet team. This exciting opportunity will allow you to service and repair vehicles in a safe and economical manner, utilizing your expertise and knowledge as required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage your schedule and have responsibility for your own revenue.
  • Travel to customers' premises and assist in repairing mechanical issues.
  • Observe, recognize, and report on vehicle or component defects or symptoms of impending failure.
  • Examine vehicles completely and report on their condition, safety, and reliability.
  • Protect vehicles under repair against damage.
  • Attend recognized courses of instruction as required.
  • Ensure all service and maintenance sheets, customer defect reports, and electronic documentation are completed and signed off.

Requirements

  • A minimum Level 2 City and Guilds (or equivalent) in Vehicle Repair.
  • Experience in diagnostics and using computers.
  • A full, UK driving license.
  • A positive, right-first-time attitude.
  • A strong team player mentality.
  • The ability to work to a high standard.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A willingness to learn and develop.
