Wildlife Trustee

We are a highly driven organization that values, enjoys, and shares wildlife in Gloucestershire. Our mission is to make nature matter for the people of Gloucestershire, and we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience and appreciate the natural world.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our Board as a Trustee. As a Trustee, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our organization and helping us achieve our mission. You will work closely with our Chief Executive and other Trustees to make strategic decisions and provide guidance on our operations.

• Provide strategic guidance and oversight to the organization
• Contribute to the development of our strategy and business plan
• Support the Chief Executive in their role
• Represent the organization at external events and meetings
• Help to build relationships with key stakeholders and partners

We are looking for someone with a strong passion for wildlife and conservation, as well as experience in a relevant field such as ecology, finance, or business development. You should be able to demonstrate a commitment to our mission and values, and be willing to contribute to the development of our strategy and business plan.

We are particularly interested in candidates who bring experience and skills in one or more of the following areas:

• Ecology
• Strategic Finance
• Enterprise and Business Development
• Green Finance
• Climate Change

We are especially keen to hear from people from Black, Asian and other Minority Ethnic groups who are currently under-represented on our board. Persons with lived experience and knowledge of Gloucestershire is highly desirable.
