Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team at Artisan People Group. As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the smooth operation of our supply chain, ensuring that our products are delivered to our customers on time and in full.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing and Procurement: Support the purchasing of stock with global suppliers, working closely with the Supply Chain Manager to review required demand, assess material requirements, and supplier minimum order quantities.
  • Negotiations and Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with global contract manufacturers, suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and 3PL providers, negotiating costs, minimum order quantities, and lead times.
  • Inventory Management: Use the ERP system, SAP, to maintain accuracy of order information, stock levels, product data, stock transfers, and creation of SKU codes.
  • Import Shipping and Logistics: Manage an import shipping schedule, obtaining quotes from freight forwarders, providing and/or completing necessary shipment documentation, and monitoring shipment schedules to ensure successful delivery into contract manufacturers and 3PL locations.
  • Problem-Solving and Resolution: Resolve root-cause problems relating to production, logistics, imports, and exports, and customs clearance.
  • Financial Management: Verify and authorize supplier packing lists and invoices, working closely with Finance to resolve invoice discrepancies and provide input towards priority invoices.
  • Reporting and Communication: Produce a weekly stock report, communicating current stock levels, stock cover, future inbounds, current, and expected out-of-stocks.
  • Freight Arrangements: Support the arranging of freight for all stock transfers between all 3PL locations.
  • Collaboration and Improvement: Work closely with internal teams, including NPD, Regulatory, and Design, throughout the ordering process, placing NPD orders, and ensuring the timely supply of packaging artworks. Collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager to review and identify opportunities for improved processes.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: A degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration, with relevant experience in the beauty industry.
  • Technical Skills: Strong written and numerical abilities, with a knack for clear communication and utilizing information effectively. Basic to intermediate computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, are a must.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, independent judgment, meticulous attention to detail, and superb organization. A natural relationship builder, adaptable, and a champion for the company's values.
