Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer Assistant to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing production schedules and ensuring they align with client requirements.
  • Implement and maintain approved procedures, ensuring all parties are aware and compliant.
  • Coordinate communication with logistics, port, stevedore, surveyor, tally, and quality teams for pipe receiving and discharging.
  • Monitor production and logistics activities against project scheduling and quality requirements.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations to stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage project scope changes, developing contingency plans as needed.
  • Build and grow business relationships with clients and partners.
  • Conduct project post-mortems, identifying successful and unsuccessful elements.
  • Direct project development from start to finish, ensuring best practices and tools are used.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members.
  • Resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using relevant tools.
  • Track and monitor project milestones and deliverables.

HSE Elements:

  • Apply HSE Management System fundamentals in daily work.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, including writing.
  • Knowledge of project coordination, project management, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to perform field inspections, project planning, and communicate technical requirements to contractors.
  • Strong thinking skills, project time management, manufacturing qualities, and report writing.
