Lead Algorithm Developer - Systematic Trading

Algo Capital Group is seeking a seasoned Quantitative Trading Specialist to join their esteemed Front Office Technology Team. This team is renowned for driving innovation and research in algorithmic execution strategies, playing a pivotal role in executing global trade flows across multiple asset classes.

This role involves close collaboration with global trading, quantitative research, and technology teams. You'll need excellent communication skills, the ability to confidently discuss your contributions with senior leaders and a knack for problem-solving under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement high-performance, enterprise-grade trading systems in C++ on Linux.
  • Develop quantitative APIs and backtesting pipelines to handle data-intensive workloads.
  • Engage frequently with global trading, quantitative research, and technology teams to drive innovation.
  • Navigate high-pressure environments with tight deadlines, delivering solutions that impact trading performance.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Multiple years of experience in software development, with a focus on C++ in a Linux environment.
  • Proven experience developing quantitative APIs, research pipelines, and managing data-intensive applications.
  • Strong background in designing high-performance trading systems with a focus on scalability and reliability.
  • A solid academic foundation in a STEM discipline from a top-tier university.
  • Confident and assured in your abilities, with excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with senior stakeholders.
  • A keen interest in the microstructure of global equity, futures, FX, options, and debt markets.
  • Familiarity with large-scale distributed computing technologies.
  • Understanding of real-time market data feeds and FIX protocol applications, particularly in algorithmic trading.
