MBDA UK Ltd is a leading defence company that designs and manufactures advanced missile systems. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our next-generation missile defence systems.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to work on the electrical and electronic aspects of our missile system architecture. The successful candidate will be responsible for specifying electrical requirements, defining interfaces, designing power architectures, and ensuring signal safety.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Electrical requirements for subsystems and equipment
  2. Interface definitions and characteristics
  3. Power architecture, including load budget and profiles
  4. Data communication and processing architecture
  5. Requirements for electromagnetic compatibility, bonding, grounding, and screening
  6. Signal safety, including routing of safety-related signals

Requirements

  1. Ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent qualification in electrical or electronic engineering or a related subject
  2. Previous experience working in a similar role
  3. Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to technical discussions
  4. UK/international travel may be required to suppliers, customers, and other MBDA sites in the UK and Europe
