About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Designer to join our team at NHS Arden & GEM CSU. As a Senior Designer, you will play a key role in leading the design process for our digital healthcare products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Leadership: Develop and implement a design strategy that aligns with our organisational goals and user needs.
  • Communication: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including researchers and developers, to ensure design alignments and successful project outcomes.
  • Service Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within existing services and translate these findings into intuitive and accessible design solutions.
  • User-Centred Designs: Develop engaging and user-friendly interfaces with a focus on accessibility and usability.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to optimise user experiences.
Requirements
  • Educational Achievement: Hold a degree in interaction design or a related field, or equivalent experience within a professional working environment.
  • Experience: Have substantial experience in a senior design role, preferably within the NHS or Healthcare sector in a digital transformation context.
  • Specialist Knowledge: Must be experienced in data discovery and have a proven ability to interpret and visualise complex data sets.
  • Practical Application: Demonstrable knowledge and passion for user-centred design practices for both public-facing and internal services and applications.
  • Communication: Be able to communicate complex information to a range of audiences in a simplistic form.
