Key Responsibilities- Monitor and maintain optimal husbandry standards for our animals
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners to share best practices in animal husbandry
- Support students in practical lessons and assist lecturers in curriculum delivery
- Document and maintain accurate records of animal health checks, feeding logs, and other relevant information
- Work with the curriculum lead to develop and guide future provision
- Manage animal collections and oversee import/export processes based on course needs
- Monitor stock and order resources to support the curriculum
- Provide strong communication skills to build relationships with colleagues, students, and external stakeholders
- Hold at least a level 3 qualification in Animal Management
- Have 2 years' practical experience in a similar role
- Strong communicator with a focus on animal welfare
- Applicants with aquarist experience are particularly welcome
