About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Postgraduate Learner Experience Designer to join our team at the University of Dundee. As a key member of our Postgraduate Learner Experience Design Team, you will play a crucial role in developing and continuously improving the end-to-end learning experiences for online and blended learners in Postgraduate Medicine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Continuous Improvement of Learner Experience
    • Conduct research to identify challenges and areas for improvement in learner experiences
    • Collaborate with the LXD team and stakeholders to prioritize and implement changes
    • Design and test solutions using iterative processes to ensure effective implementation
  • Design and Develop Online and Blended Programmes and Modules
    • Work with subject-matter experts to identify learning objectives and develop learning materials
    • Use a range of authoring tools to create engaging and accessible content
    • Ensure that all materials adhere to copyright policies and accessibility standards
  • Lead the Design and Development of the Learning Platform (Moodle)
    • Maintain courses and user accounts
    • Develop and maintain in-house educational support materials
    • Provide guidance and support to students and staff using the learning platform
  • Conduct Quality Assurance and Share Best Practices
    • Review and improve work completed by colleagues in the LXD team
    • Share knowledge and experiences with the team and wider organization
Requirements
  • Experience in designing and developing online modules and learning content

  • Ability to problem-solve using creative techniques
  • Ability to collaborate and work in an agile environment
