Key Responsibilities- Provide Individualized Support: Work one-on-one and in small groups with students to provide personalized assistance and support.
- Implement Individual Education Plans: Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support strategies tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with Teachers: Collaborate with teachers to adapt and differentiate lesson materials and activities to meet the needs of students with special educational needs.
- Support Social and Emotional Development: Support students in developing their social, emotional, and communication skills.
- Monitor Progress: Monitor and record students' progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
- Foster a Positive Environment: Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social interaction and learning.
- Assist with Personal Care: Assist with personal care and mobility needs, if required.
- Participate in Professional Development: Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Experience Working with Special Needs: Experience working with children with special educational needs, preferably in a school setting.
- Understanding of Special Needs: Understanding of various special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities.
- Strong Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.

- Relevant Qualifications: Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
