About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cybersecurity Operations Specialist to join our team at West Mercia Police. As a key member of our security operations team, you will play a critical role in protecting our digital services and underlying technologies from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the control and monitoring of our digital services security services and underlying technologies.
  • Proactively hunt for threats within our environments and ensure the monitoring and analysis of incidents to protect People, Technology, Data and Process.
  • Address all security incidents and ensure timely escalation in line with local and nationally set policing security standards.
  • Engage in Cyber defence capabilities to identify potential threats and deliver strategic reports and strategies to minimize the impact of the threat.
  • Provide monitoring of vulnerability management solutions and other security-related tooling.
