About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Demand Forecast Analyst to join our dynamic team at Sainsbury's Argos. As a key member of our Central Merchandising team, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and profit through effective demand forecasting and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with trading teams to understand performance, event planning, and new range launches
  • Systematically manage sales performance/demand forecasts and respond to performance trends
  • Drive intake, distribution, and sales through close collaboration with A&R and supply chain colleagues
  • Develop and utilise new tools and tracking reports to improve forecast accuracy and availability
  • Contribute to creating an inclusive culture and share best practices within the Central Merchandising team
Requirements
  • Experience and working knowledge of multi-channel retailing across commercial, analytical, and operational disciplines
  • Strong understanding of forecast planning and intake
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders across all levels
