Position Overview:
We are seeking multiple experienced Residential Site Engineers at various levels to enhance our dedicated and dynamic workforce. This is an exceptional opportunity to engage in a diverse range of projects. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of Groundworks and will be required to travel frequently to different sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and communicate construction drawings clearly on-site for layouts and material measurements.
- Ensure accurate setting out of works.
- Modify and adhere to Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS).
- Oversee quality assurance processes.
- Manage labor resources effectively and assign tasks accordingly.
- Provide regular progress updates.
- Supervise materials and site operations, ensuring precise lines, levels, and reference points.
- Influence site progress positively to meet project deadlines.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and subcontractors.
- Collaborate closely with team members to uphold Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Continuously enhance industry knowledge and share best practices with team members and management.
- Maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) along with relevant policies and procedures.
- Perform any additional duties as reasonably required.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Degree in Construction Engineering and Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in residential construction projects.
- Ability to take initiative and manage projects from inception to completion.
- Strong focus on deadlines, motivating the team to achieve key objectives.
- Prior experience in labor and materials management.
- Familiarity with Health & Safety regulations.
- Proficient in numeracy and IT skills, including MS Office Suite.
Working Hours:
Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, with a permanent day shift.
