Position Overview – Resident Maintenance Engineer

As a Resident Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing operational performance and efficiency for our global clientele, providing them with a competitive advantage in their respective markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct both reactive and scheduled maintenance on a diverse range of automated systems, including cranes, conveyors, vertical lifts, monorail systems, and deep freeze high bays.
  • Work in a temperature-controlled environment, maintaining standards in a cold setting (-18 degrees).
  • Execute repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Assess and prioritize system faults effectively.
  • Maintain high-quality output consistently.
  • Document all maintenance activities accurately.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety regulations at all times.
Candidate Profile
  • Possess an apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or hold an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience with automated systems is preferred, though training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Comfortable working at heights.
  • Strong communication skills are essential for this customer-facing role.
  • Familiarity with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is advantageous.
