Vistry Group PLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Development Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering people development initiatives that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of people development strategies that align with our business objectives.
  • Design and deliver blended learning solutions that meet the needs of our employees and managers.
  • Work closely with our People Development Partners, Future Talent, and Organizational Development teams to plan and deliver on learning initiatives.
  • Conduct training needs assessments and recommend solutions to improve our people development processes.
  • Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of our development programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Source external innovations in learning and development to maximize our offerings.
  • Coordinate leadership development processes and liaise with People Development Partners to support internal nomination processes.
  • Design, develop, and deliver virtual and in-person training, development, and upskilling programs aligned to meet organizational objectives.
  • Guide, coach, and advise people managers on best practice management and leadership.
  • Support the creation of a learning and development solution for every part of the employee lifecycle.
  • Continuously improve training content and utilize emerging technologies to design new and creative solutions.
  • Provide regular updates on people development activities to our leadership team.
  • Build relationships with external networks to research and build upon ideas for organizational development initiatives.
  • Manage, support, and develop the People Development Administrator.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (at A* to C) inclusive of English & Maths.
  • Proven experience in a similar Learning and Development role.
  • Strong knowledge of various training methodologies.
  • Strong IT skills including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrable experience of different Learning Management Systems and e-learning platforms.
  • Experience in designing and delivering blended learning solutions.
  • Design and delivery of complex L&D projects.
  • Strategic planning.
  • Strong internal and external networking skills.
  • A good understanding of all People functions with the ability to collaborate on projects with the wider People team.
  • Strong presentation and project skills and a creative mindset.
  • Understand the commercial importance of working with tight deadlines and with stakeholder engagement.
  • Creative and innovative mindset with the confidence to lead new initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to display a business partnering approach and manage the expectations of each part of the business effectively.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to ensure flexibility when required.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise confidently with people of all levels.
  • Flexible to support various areas of the business, to attend various offices and site locations within the business as and when necessary.

Desirable

  • Experience of Cornerstone LMS.
  • Experience of COINS.
  • Experience of using rapid authoring tools (e.g. Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate) to design, build and deploy e-learning solutions.
  • Line management experience.
  • Aspirations to learn and develop their role.
