Position Overview:

As a Special Educational Needs Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in fostering the educational development of students with diverse needs. This position is full-time and offers a competitive rate of £72 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the educational journey of students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.
2. Provide tailored support to students who have faced barriers in mainstream education.
3. Collaborate with the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to track and enhance student progress in both academic and social domains.
4. Facilitate smaller group sessions and one-on-one interactions to help students achieve their full potential.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will possess:
- Experience working one-on-one with children with special educational needs.
- The ability to empathize with students and serve as a positive role model.

Requirements:

- Hold a valid DBS registered with the update service or be willing to apply for one.
