ER Specialist Opportunity

Hoop Recruitment is partnering with a leading Welsh-based organisation to find an experienced ER Specialist. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly supportive HR team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing end-to-end employee relations cases across the organisation. You will be an essential part of an inclusive and forward-thinking work environment, contributing significantly to the team's success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full employee relations process, providing expert advice and guidance on ER matters
  • Recommend and implement solutions for various HR challenges
  • Identify and introduce process improvements within HR operations
  • Support the HR team with ongoing projects and organisational initiatives
  • Proactively manage and mitigate risks related to employee relations
  • Foster and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including trade unions
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are regularly updated and aligned with best practices
  • Analyse and report on HR metrics, trends, and people data to support decision-making
Requirements:
  • Strong HR background with proven experience in handling complex ER case management
  • Ability to manage a diverse workload and deliver high-quality outcomes under pressure
  • Flexible, proactive, and solutions-focused with a can-do attitude
  • Experience working with trade unions is highly desirable
  • Exceptional influencing skills and the ability to engage at all organisational levels
  • CIPD qualification is desirable, but not essential
