Aspire People is partnering with a multi-academy trust in Manchester to find a dedicated Sports Graduate to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for recent graduates passionate about teaching and aspiring to become teachers. In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting the physical and emotional well-being of students by delivering high-quality sports and physical education activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sports Coaching: Plan and deliver engaging sessions focused on fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  2. Behavioural Support: Utilize sports to enhance students' social skills, self-esteem, and emotional regulation, fostering a supportive community.
  3. Individualized Support: Tailor activities for students with diverse needs, including those with SEND, ensuring every student feels valued and included.
  4. Curriculum Integration: Collaborate with teachers to incorporate sports into the broader curriculum, promoting a holistic approach to education.
  5. Progress Tracking: Monitor student participation and progress, providing constructive feedback for development and growth.
  6. Community Engagement: Build relationships with students, parents, and stakeholders, organizing events and outreach initiatives that promote a sense of belonging and connection.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related field.
  2. Experience working with children or young people, especially in sports or educational settings.
  3. Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
  4. Enthusiasm for promoting the benefits of sports and physical activity.
  5. An enhanced DBS on the update service will be required for this role, or we can apply for one for you.
