About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Advocacy Specialist to join our team at Coram Voice. As a key member of our team, you will work directly with children and young people in, and on the edges, of care, providing them with advocacy support in the community and a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advocacy support to children and young people, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights are upheld.
  • Work closely with professionals, carers, and other stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children and young people we support.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with children and young people, understanding their needs and concerns.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote the rights and wellbeing of children and young people.
Requirements
  • Transferable skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Desire to promote the rights of children and young people.
  • IAQ City and Guilds Level 3 or IAQ City and Guilds Level 4 in Advocacy (or equivalent).
