Quality Engineer

Location: Deeside

Hours: Monday - Friday

Salary: NEG DOE


HR GO Recruitment is looking for a dedicated Quality Engineer to manage and resolve quality challenges, pinpoint underlying issues, and execute effective corrective measures to improve product excellence and client satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to refine processes and products through Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
  • Develop and oversee procedures and operational guidelines to facilitate company functions
  • Conduct internal and external audits, along with supplier oversight
  • Partner with procurement and suppliers during the introduction of new products
  • Travel independently for business requirements
  • Analyze quality trends, spearhead improvement initiatives, and present findings to upper management
  • Launch quality improvement programs across the organization
  • Assist with supplier and customer documentation processes
  • Ensure adherence to ISO standards
  • Apply 8D problem-solving techniques
  • Perform inspections and enhance quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Contribute to various facets of business operations
  • Support quality assurance initiatives and certification processes

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in an assembly and production manufacturing setting
  • Proficient in quality core tools and auditing practices
  • Familiarity with supplier development, ISO standards, and Health & Safety management systems
  • Experience with TS/IATF 16949 management systems
