Role OverviewWe are seeking a Risk Governance Lead to join our Governance team in Markets Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering critical Risk Governance and uplifting the risk profile throughout the organization and its products.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the delivery of Risk Governance initiatives and uplift the risk profile throughout the organization and its products.
- Challenge the status quo to drive process re-engineering, standardization, and prioritization with Senior Control Officers and other business stakeholders.
- Develop and implement Risk Governance Frameworks and other Enterprise-wide frameworks and standards.
- Drive the creation of operating model changes to pivot the Markets Operations organization towards digitization.
- Effectively communicate technical and business issues and solutions to multiple organizational levels.
- Develop and suggest operating model changes to pivot the Markets Operations organization towards digitization.
- Relevant experience in Operational Risk, Compliance, or Governance with commensurate stakeholder management experience.
- Experience delivering Control and Governance Frameworks in a fast-paced, large global financial services firm, ideally in an operations, risk, or technology organization.
- Ability to enhance the consistency of reporting to business risk committees, ensuring the governance framework is robust and efficient.
