We are seeking a skilled Scheduler to join our team at Home Instead. As a Scheduler, you will play a vital role in creating and maintaining efficient schedules that provide the highest quality of service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and Schedule Services: You will be responsible for creating and maintaining schedules that meet the needs of our clients and our CARE Professionals.
  • Optimise Schedules: You will craft effective schedules that consider travel time, holidays, training, and any last-minute changes.
  • Adapt and Collaborate: You will quickly adapt to changes in the schedule and work closely with team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Match Clients and CARE Professionals: You will work with the client services team to assign the right CARE Professionals to new clients and arrange seamless introductions.
  • Build Relationships: You will foster consistent, meaningful relationships by aligning clients with CARE Professionals who fit their needs and preferences.
  • Team Collaboration: You will work closely with the recruitment and care teams to meet staffing requirements and ensure timely scheduling of care packages.
  • Maintain Records: You will enter and update all client and CARE Professional information in our electronic scheduling system to ensure accuracy.
  • Compliance: You will uphold Home Instead's commitment to equality, diversity, and equal opportunities in both employment and service delivery.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a skilled Scheduler who has prior experience in a care setting or environment. You should have basic IT proficiency and be ready to learn new technologies. Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills are a must, as well as exceptional communication abilities across all levels. You should be able to stay calm, accurate, and effective even when multitasking under pressure.
